Our new favorite restaurant!

I stumbled on Restaurant Vero for lunch one day. After the terrific experience, I have been back several times, bringing friends. My husband and I had our anniversary dinner there, too. The luncheon menu always has quiche and salad in manageable portions--and the tarragon chicken salad is one of my favorites. Every visit has been characterized by attentive service; fresh,delicious food; a broad wine selection and lovely, tasteful surroundings. This is a wonderful place to have lunch with a friend or to celebrate a special occasion. It's nice to have a nearby restaurant in Arlington where we can have an elegant meal at affordable prices.

Fantastic ambiance, great service, an interesting wine list and tasty food is what my friend and I recently experienced at Restaurant Vero. We didn't have a reservation on Friday night, but the friendly hostess accommodated us for dinner anyway. The food was fantastic and beautifully presented. Our server recommended a bottle of Amarone, which was perfect for the chilly night. We will definitely return and will recommend it to all of our neighborhood friends.

I've been back to Restaurant Vero several times and continue to be amazed by the exquisite food, attentive staff and exceptional collection of wine. In an unassuming location, you might just drive by without a second glance, but you won't be disappointed. Joy and Veronica have done a remarkable job of creating a charming restaurant with sheer sophistication. See you again soon!

After driving by Cafe! Cafe! (now Restaurant Vero) many times, we finally decided to try it out for a special occasion. What a great find! The food was delicious, the atmosphere was warm and cozy, and the staff was incredibly friendly. They made every effort to make the evening special for us. They even gave me a box of beautiful, local chocolates and tried to pass it off as my boyfriend's idea! We'll definitely go back.
